RN Radiology Part Time Polk

AdventHealth Polk is hiring a part-time Radiology RN for its hospital in Columbus, North Carolina, with day-shift scheduling. ### What you'll do - Perform initial and follow-up nursing assessments, including pain screening and evaluation for signs of abuse or neglect - Administer treatments and medications, interpret and verify physician orders, and assess the effectiveness of interventions - Apply age-specific care competencies across patient populations from neonates through geriatric (65+) - Document all procedures and assessments per department policy and respond appropriately in clinical emergencies - Adhere to infection control standards, use hospital-approved PPE and radiation-minimization practices - Identify individualized care plans based on patient needs and available support systems ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 1 year of recent critical care experience required - Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's required; Bachelor's preferred) - Proficiency in EKG interpretation and Cerner EMR - 1+ year of interventional radiology experience preferred ### What's included - Compensation range: $31.64–$50.13/hr ($65,811–$104,270 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states, focused on whole-person care in body, mind, and spirit.
