About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Practice Manager to oversee physician practice operations at its Plantation Island location in St. Augustine, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day office operations across physician practices, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, high-quality patient care delivery
- Oversee start-up of new physician practices, including onboarding of newly recruited and established community physicians, and assist with credentialing activities
- Coordinate and improve practice operations including flow management, documentation, training, staffing, and provider oversight
- Lead the full hiring cycle: recruit, orient, evaluate, coach, and when necessary counsel or separate employees per policy
- Ensure staff compliance with department policies and procedures while maintaining high levels of employee engagement
- Monitor and support departmental budget oversight, billing, coding, and compliance with TJC and applicable regulations
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree required; an Associate's degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma plus 4+ years of experience, may substitute
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) preferred
- Working knowledge of physician coding, billing, insurance collections, and front-office systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
