About this role
AdventHealth Medical Group is hiring a part-time Triage RN for its Pediatric Multispecialty practices across Central Florida, based out of Maitland, FL.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate care across multiple pediatric practice sites in Central Florida.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as required.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Pediatric-focused certifications (PEARS, NRP, TNCC, STABLE) preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; ability to work within a hybrid, multi-site team environment.
