AdventHealth Waterford Lakes is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its free-standing Emergency Department in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher.
- Current Florida or multistate Registered Nurse licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.

### About the practice
AdventHealth Waterford Lakes operates an 18,000-square-foot, 24-bed free-standing Emergency Department open 24/7, serving the residents of East Orange County as an extension of AdventHealth East Orlando Campus. The facility includes an urgent care track, an observation unit, and ground transport support for specialty care transfers. This night shift role runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with weekend rotation.
