About this role

AdventHealth Winter Garden is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist I (PRN/Per Diem, Day Shift) at its hospital campus in Winter Garden, Florida. ### What you'll do - Initiate, maintain, transport, and monitor mechanical ventilators using conventional ventilation modes per policy - Perform airway maintenance including manual resuscitator use, oral/nasal pharyngeal airway insertion, and airway suctioning - Obtain, analyze, and report arterial blood gas and co-oximetry findings; perform quality controls as needed - Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies and deliver CPR per American Heart Association standards - Assess patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations to determine therapy efficacy and adjust treatment per protocol - Document and charge for all procedures accurately in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required - Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association — required - Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science — required - Demonstrated ability to care for patients across all age groups including neonates and geriatric patients - 1+ year of critical care experience — preferred - Adherence to standard precautions and hospital safety regulations ### What's included - Pay range: $23.71–$44.09/hr (approximately $49,316–$91,707 annualized) - PRN/per-diem scheduling with day-shift availability - AdventHealth system employment with access to broader team member benefits programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Garden is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, mission-driven health network operating across multiple states.
