About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the Pre/Post Recovery and Cardiac Diagnostics unit at its campus in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy within the scope of RN licensure, adjusting care plans based on patient responses.
- Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical and professional standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and executing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development activities.
- Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policies to uphold patient safety standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS certification (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills applied to unit operations and patient care delivery.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and working knowledge of healthcare productivity management.
