About this role
AdventHealth is seeking a Cardiology APRN or PA for a full-time, day-shift position at their Harbor Boulevard location in Port Charlotte, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments including physical exams, patient histories, and diagnostic test interpretation
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, initiating orders for medications, labs, and treatments within scope
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with attention to age-specific needs
- Coordinate patient care with cardiologists and interdisciplinary team members, including participation in rounds and case conferences
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and chronic disease management
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through data collection, outcome analysis, and evidence-based practice integration
### What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
- Active APRN or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure
- Minimum 1 year of related clinical work experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain excellent organizational standards
- Proficiency with specialized equipment relevant to cardiology practice
