Cardiology APRN / PA

AdventHealth is seeking a Cardiology APRN or PA for a full-time, day-shift position at their Harbor Boulevard location in Port Charlotte, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive health assessments including physical exams, patient histories, and diagnostic test interpretation - Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, initiating orders for medications, labs, and treatments within scope - Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with attention to age-specific needs - Coordinate patient care with cardiologists and interdisciplinary team members, including participation in rounds and case conferences - Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and chronic disease management - Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through data collection, outcome analysis, and evidence-based practice integration ### What we're looking for - Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies - Active APRN or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure - Minimum 1 year of related clinical work experience - Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain excellent organizational standards - Proficiency with specialized equipment relevant to cardiology practice ### What's included - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being programs ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system with a broad presence across the United States, committed to whole-person care in body, mind, and spirit.
