About this role

AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a PRN Pre/Post Recovery RN to provide peri-operative nursing care at its campus in Littleton, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments covering physiological, psychological, and sociocultural factors to prepare patients for surgery. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring patients for adverse reactions throughout the recovery process. - Develop and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and established standards of care. - Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, medications, and self-care strategies to support safe discharge. - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary departments to coordinate seamless patient flow through pre- and post-operative phases. - Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions as needed. ### What we're looking for - Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills for high-acuity patient assessment. - Ability to delegate and supervise care team members effectively. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $34.26–$59.24 (annualized approximately $71,261–$123,219 at 2,080 hours). - PRN schedule with day shifts. - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and performance improvement programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth Littleton is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network committed to whole-person care in body, mind, and spirit.
