A PRN night-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the Med/Surg Renal unit at AdventHealth Ocala in Ocala, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments accurately per physician orders and nursing policy.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, including Code Blue activations and critical dysrhythmias.
- Manage patient transitions through the care continuum, coordinating discharge planning and handoff to post-acute providers.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record, including allergies, lab data, diagnostics, and patient education.
- Maintain a safe patient environment by following CDC sterile technique, isolation protocols, and PPE standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); additional certifications may apply per unit credential grid.
- 1+ year of acute care experience (preferred).
- Demonstrated critical-thinking, clinical assessment, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as required.
### What's included
- Pay rate: $31.53–$52.24 per hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized equivalent).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling flexibility on night shift.
