About this role

AdventHealth Hendersonville is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its ICU on the night shift at its 100 Hospital Drive campus in Hendersonville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient response - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and driving operational changes - Resolve staff conflicts using mediation techniques to maintain a cohesive team environment - Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training and structured professional development ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred - BLS/CPR certification — required - 1+ year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience — preferred - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience — preferred - Strong clinical judgment, EHR proficiency, and written/verbal communication skills ### What's included - Pay range: $32.61–$60.66/hr ($67,829–$126,173 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development resources and mental health support ### About the practice AdventHealth Hendersonville is a faith-based acute care hospital serving western North Carolina as part of the AdventHealth system, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States.
