About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Med-Surg Orthopedics unit at its Littleton, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the unit.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Basic computer proficiency and fluency in English (written and verbal).

The Med-Surg Orthopedics unit runs three 12-hour night shifts per week.
