About this role
AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is hiring a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist I for its imaging department in Lenexa, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures with proficiency in camera acquisition, computer processing, and radionuclide administration using aseptic technique
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care
- Conduct quality control on equipment and evaluate image quality for technical and diagnostic accuracy before releasing images for interpretation
- Maintain accurate documentation of radionuclide administration data, exam charges, and QC records in the Nuclear Medicine Information System and Order Communication System
- Prepare and verify proper patient and exam assignments, correcting erroneous accession numbers and notifying personnel for after-hours transmissions
- Apply radiation safety principles (time, distance, shielding) to keep exposure ALARA for patients and staff
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required
- Knowledge of scintigraphic equipment, acquisition computers, processing stations, and hot lab equipment
- Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently without constant technical supervision
- Proficiency or ability to learn radiology software including Cerner, Radworks, and PACS
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field — preferred

### About the practice
AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit. The Lenexa campus serves the western Kansas City metro with a full suite of imaging and outpatient services. This role operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no evening or weekend requirement.
