About this role
A PRN outpatient clinic RN role in a psychiatry setting at AdventHealth, located in Merriam, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Coordinate and facilitate group visits for high-risk patient populations and support care transitions including medication reconciliation.
- Provide patient and family education using teach-back methodology and motivational interviewing techniques.
- Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel per State Board of Nursing guidelines and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- General nursing skills with strong documentation practices.
- Prior medical office or outpatient experience preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
### What's included
- Pay range of $28.81–$46.09 per hour (approximately $59,924–$95,867 annualized).
- PRN schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM — day shifts only, no nights or weekends.
