About this role
A Consumer Experience Specialist (PRN) at AdventHealth serves as a front-line contact center representative at the Greenwood Village, Colorado outpatient facility, managing patient scheduling, insurance verification, and inquiry resolution.
### What you'll do
- Resolve consumer inquiries accurately and promptly, adhering to established workflows, scripting, and department greetings
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and authorization requirements at the time of scheduling
- Initiate insurance eligibility checks to support timely authorization procurement and reimbursement
- Assess department schedules to maximize resource utilization and prevent scheduling conflicts
- Document all consumer interactions thoroughly and maintain accurate records across CRM, EHR, and telephony systems
- Research and resolve issues independently while meeting individual quality assurance and productivity targets
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn multiple technology platforms including CRM and EHR systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to listen and document simultaneously
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred; Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
### What's included
- Pay range: $19.58–$31.32 per hour (approximately $40,726–$65,146 annualized)
- PRN / per-diem schedule on day shift
- Position is local to Colorado candidates only
