Basic X-Ray Machine Operator/ Radiology Technologist

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Basic X-Ray Machine Operator / Radiology Technologist at its Waterford Lakes Town Center location in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for x-rays of specific body parts as ordered by a physician - Set up, operate, and adjust radiographic equipment; select appropriate ionizing factors for each procedure - Process film and evaluate images for clarity, retaking x-rays when image quality requires it - Maintain patient records, daily logbooks, monthly reports, and x-ray film files - Perform quantity and quality control checks to ensure the x-ray unit meets regulatory and company standards - Stock radiology supplies, rotate film inventory, and keep the darkroom and x-ray room clean and compliant ### What we're looking for - Active Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) certification (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree in radiological technology from an accredited program (preferred) - At least 1 year of basic x-ray operator experience (preferred) - Ability to float to other FHMG practices as patient volume and scheduling require - Strong English communication skills — reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension ### What's included - Pay range: $19.23–$40.09/hour (~$39,998–$83,387 annualized) - Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and outpatient facilities across multiple states.
