About this role

AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida is hiring a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist III to deliver advanced cardiopulmonary care across a full acute care hospital setting. ### What you'll do - Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, evaluating patient-ventilator interface every four hours and adjusting settings per clinical criteria - Draw and analyze arterial blood gases, place arterial lines, and modify respiratory management based on results - Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics including cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, ECGs, and Holter monitor setup - Assist with bronchoscopy procedures including bedside bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, and navigational bronchoscopy - Respond to emergencies by establishing and maintaining airways and performing CPR - Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for cardiopulmonary staff and respiratory therapy students ### What we're looking for - Active State or NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required - Minimum 3 years of hospital experience as an RRT, with expertise in blood gas laboratory management - ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required - Associate degree in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Science required; Bachelor's preferred - Demonstrated competency caring for neonatal through geriatric patient populations - Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (approximately $54,246–$100,880 annualized at 2,080 hours) - PRN schedule with day shift availability ### About the practice AdventHealth Fish Memorial is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states.
