About this role
AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a full-time EMS Dispatch Supervisor to provide operational leadership for its hospital-based emergency medical services program in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Lead day-to-day operations of the EMS dispatch and transport program, maintaining effective service delivery across emergency and non-emergency calls
- Develop staffing strategies, participate in recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of EMS personnel
- Oversee quality performance improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Review and correct patient care reports, billing documentation, and other required records
- Coach, mentor, and develop frontline staff through ongoing instruction and feedback
- Represent the EMS department at hospital leadership meetings and community functions aligned with the facility's mission
### What we're looking for
- Active EMT certification or Licensed Paramedic credential (required)
- Valid Driver's License or Commercial Driver's License (required)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- 5+ years of experience in ambulance or EMS services (required)
- 1+ year of management or leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong customer relations skills and ability to maintain composure in critical situations
