About this role

AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department, working 9a–9p day shifts at its Davenport, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and acute care needs. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary ED team to manage high-acuity patient volume across a fast-paced environment. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required). - Prior critical care or Emergency Department experience preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$50.40/hr (~$65,582–$104,832 annually). - $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks fully paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Heart of Florida is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
