About this role
A full-time Registered Nurse on the Medical Telemetry unit at AdventHealth East Orlando provides inpatient cardiac monitoring and nursing care on a day shift (7 am–7 pm, every other weekend) in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care and evolving patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
- Respond promptly to code situations and supervise or delegate care to healthcare team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting — preferred.

- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approx. $65,582–$108,659 annually).
