About this role
AdventHealth is hiring new graduate Registered Nurses into its Summer Nurse Residency program across two facilities — Dade City and Zephyrhills — in the Tampa Bay region of Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform timely, comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient conditions.
- Administer medications safely and adhere to infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate clinical findings and care updates with the full interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct hourly rounding and maintain patient- and family-centered communication throughout each shift.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and complete all required continuing education.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida (or eligibility).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must obtain within 6 months of hire; current certification preferred).
- New RN graduate or RN with fewer than 12 months of clinical experience.
- Prior experience as a CNA, Student Nurse Tech, Triage Tech, or EMT in an acute care setting is preferred.
- EKG competency per facility/unit requirement.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
