AdventHealth Minneola is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Med/Tele unit on the night shift in Minneola, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to uphold clinical standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Resolve staff conflicts using mediation techniques to maintain a cohesive and professional work environment.
- Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development programs.
- Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to sustain high standards of patient safety.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BLS/CPR certification required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- At least 1 year of charge nurse or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and the ability to manage unit operations including productivity and financial oversight.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and solid written and verbal communication skills.
