About this role

AdventHealth Waterford Lakes is hiring a full-time Emergency Department RN for day shifts (9a–9p) at their Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors for ED patients - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication - Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification required - 1+ year of ED experience in a hospital setting preferred - CCNS (Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist) certification preferred - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and EKG interpretation skills ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, well-being programs, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterford Lakes is part of AdventHealth, a large faith-based, not-for-profit health system with facilities across multiple states.
