About this role
An Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is needed for full-time night shifts at AdventHealth Poinciana ER in Kissimmee, Florida, with rotation to Partin Settlement ER and Kissimmee hospital.
### What you'll do
- Perform airway maintenance including manual resuscitation, suctioning, intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy tube changes
- Deliver inhaled medications, bronchial hygiene therapy, lung expansion therapy, and manage patients on invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilators
- Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies, providing CPR per American Heart Association guidelines
- Perform hemodynamic procedures including arterial cannulation, pulmonary artery catheter insertion, and cardiac output profiling
- Assess patients, set care goals, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on individualized plans of care
- Monitor, evaluate, and interpret diagnostic data including lab results; document and charge for all procedures accurately
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required); Bachelor's preferred
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or NBRC RRT credential (required)
- 1+ years of critical care experience (required)
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (all required)
- Ability to complete department orientation, critical care training, and advanced critical care training programs

- Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hr (~$54,246–$100,880 annualized)
