About this role
AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), day shift, in Tavares, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with CVICU standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required; CCRN-E or CCNS preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG interpretation skills and Advanced Life Support competency per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to apply abstract reasoning to revise patient care plans.

- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annually).
