About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication across the care team. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS certification required. - At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Proficiency in EKG interpretation per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract clinical reasoning skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - CME and career development resources; whole-person well-being and mental health support programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona operates a comprehensive network of care in Orlando, Florida, offering emergency services, urgent care, specialist medicine, imaging, orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
