About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Sterile Processing/OR Liaison at its Hinsdale, Illinois hospital, working primarily Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM–3:00 PM. ### What you'll do - Coordinate availability of instruments, scopes, and equipment for scheduled cases, add-ons, and emergencies to prevent case delays. - Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation for proper functioning before each use. - Monitor priority lists to confirm instrumentation is ready for all first and follow-up OR cases. - Deliver additional instrumentation to Operating Room staff during active procedures as needed. - Assist with transporting instrument containers, setting up case carts, and supporting instrument turnover to maintain efficient OR workflow. - Communicate daily with OR leadership and the Sterile Processing Manager regarding instrument supply, case needs, and issue resolution. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required). - Minimum 2 years of sterile equipment processing experience (required). - Active CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Tech) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) certification (required). - BLS/CPR certification (preferred). - Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) credential (preferred). ### What's included - Compensation range: $22.68–$42.19/hour (~$47,174–$87,755 annually). - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale is a community hospital located at 120 N.
