About this role

AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse for evening/night shifts (3 pm–3 am) at its Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in accordance with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the care continuum. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license — required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — all required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting — preferred. - EKG interpretation skills per departmental requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking abilities in a fast-paced ED environment. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annually). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting Day One. - Paid time off starting Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Continuing education and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando operates one of the busiest emergency departments in Central Florida from its flagship Ginsburg Tower location at 601 E.
