Mammography Technologist

A Mammography Technologist position is open at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in Daytona Beach, Florida, performing 2D and 3D breast imaging within a dedicated breast center. ### What you'll do - Perform 2D and 3D mammography examinations, adjusting technical factors and compression to achieve optimal image quality for radiologist interpretation. - Position patients safely and comfortably, explain procedures clearly, and address questions with professionalism throughout each exam. - Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and required documentation. - Maintain accurate, timely records in the EMR and PACS systems; perform and document daily system QC checks. - Coordinate patient tracking, recall management, additional imaging, and biopsy scheduling as directed by departmental workflows. - Support breast center initiatives including accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities. ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT registration in both Radiography RT(R) and Mammography RT(M) required. - Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Demonstrated knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, and radiation safety principles (ALARA). - Proficiency with PACS systems and basic computer/Microsoft Office skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 ($54,246–$100,880 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being programs. - Pet benefits and mental health support resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network serving communities across multiple states.
