AdventHealth Fish Memorial is hiring a full-time day-shift ICU Registered Nurse at its Orange City, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for critically ill patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring continuously for adverse reactions.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize ICU patient care.
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to team members while maintaining accurate, timely medical record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- EKG interpretation skills and proficiency navigating Windows-based clinical systems.
- Critical Care certification (CCNS or CCRN-E) is a plus; additional specialty certifications (TNCC, SCRN, ONS) are welcomed.
