About this role
A full-time Registered Nurse role in the General Cardiology clinic at AdventHealth's Shawnee Medical Building in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights; deliver patient and family education using teach-back methodology and assessment of learning readiness.
- Promote patient engagement through motivational interviewing and self-management protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong documentation skills and proficiency with electronic health records (preferred).
- Medical office or specialty clinic experience preferred.

- Pay range: $28.81–$46.09/hour ($59,925–$95,867 annualized).
