About this role
AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on the night shift in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Lead nursing staff on the PACU unit in the delivery of safe, patient-centered post-anesthesia care
- Perform venous access procedures and administer and monitor infusion therapy within RN scope of practice
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and support operational excellence on the unit
- Manage unit-level financial and productivity metrics, including staffing and resource utilization
- Mentor team members on clinical technology and best practices
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1+ year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred
- 2+ years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and ability to manage healthcare delivery operations
