Certified Medical Assistant

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its medical office in Palm Coast, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the practice system - Administer medications, collect labs, and assist with minor procedures appropriate to the specialty - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions with clear, accurate communication - Monitor and manage supply inventory and ensure medical equipment is functioning - Travel as needed to support staffing needs across clinic locations ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour (~$35,589–$56,950 annually) - Up to $2,500 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a presence across the United States, committed to whole-person care encompassing body, mind, and spirit.
