About this role
AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Emergency Room Technician II for the night shift (7pm–7am) at its Zephyrhills, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, urine specimen collection, splinting, crutch adjustment, urinary catheter removal, dressing changes, accuchecks, and nasogastric tube discontinuation.
- Monitor and document patient intake/output, vital signs, weights, activities of daily living, and specimen collection per hospital policy.
- Assist patients with hygiene, comfort, activities of daily living, positioning, lifting, and ambulation using established safety precautions.
- Maintain skin integrity through turning, repositioning, and timely reporting of skin breakdown to nursing staff.
- Support patient flow by facilitating admissions, discharges, and transfers in accordance with hospital policy.
- Transport patients, medical records, and equipment within scheduled timeframes throughout the facility.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or EMT license accepted, or current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with at least one semester of Nursing Fundamentals completed.
- Active BLS/CPR certification required.
- One of the following credentials required: CNA, EMT, CPCT/A, CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Adherence to universal precautions and patient identification protocols.
