RN Critical Care Float Pool - ICU and PCU - Night Shift

AdventHealth Huguley Medical Center in Burleson, Texas is hiring a PRN Critical Care Float Pool RN covering ICU and PCU units on night shift. ### What you'll do - Float between ICU and PCU units, delivering bedside nursing care aligned with each unit's acuity and standards. - Develop, individualize, and prioritize patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. - Perform accurate, timely nursing interventions per physician orders and identified care plans. - Conduct hourly rounding and ensure safe, effective handoff communications and documentation at care transitions. - Educate patients and families based on assessed learning needs throughout the care episode. - Participate in peer interviewing, peer review, and unit-specific process improvement initiatives. ### What we're looking for - Active Texas RN license required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant nursing experience required; 2+ years of critical care experience preferred. - Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certifications required. - Proficient critical thinking and clinical skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities. - Experience with electronic medical record systems and EKG interpretation preferred. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.65–$62.59/hour (approximately $69,992–$130,187 annualized). - PRN/per-diem schedule with night shift availability. - AdventHealth mission-driven work environment with opportunities for professional and spiritual growth. ### About the practice AdventHealth Huguley Medical Center is a full-service acute care hospital located in Burleson, Texas, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based nonprofit health systems in the United States.
