About this role

A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/MA) is needed at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth's Neurology Clinic in Hinsdale, Illinois, with occasional travel to a satellite clinic in Woodridge. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor neurology procedures and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EHR - Administer medications, coordinate lab work, and communicate test results to patients - Educate patients on tests, medications, and care plans with clear instructions - Monitor and manage clinic inventory, supplies, and medical equipment readiness - Maintain OSHA compliance, confidentiality, and organizational policy standards ### What we're looking for - Active medical assistant certification (CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA) required; non-certified candidates must obtain certification after hire - BLS/CPR certification required - High school diploma or equivalent required - 1+ year of related clinical work experience preferred - Bilingual English/Polish strongly preferred - Proficiency with computers and electronic health records; ability to work independently within certification scope ### What's included - Pay range: $17.47–$29.62/hr (~$36,338–$61,610 annually) - Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is a faith-based health system serving communities across the Midwest with a focus on whole-person care.
