AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a PRN Advanced Respiratory Therapist for its hospital campus in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Deliver respiratory care including aerosolized medication, oxygen therapy, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilator management
- Draw, analyze, and report blood gas results; maintain blood gas lab quality control and analyzer upkeep
- Respond to rapid response and code blue situations, performing CPR as required
- Assist with bedside bronchoscopy and manage non-invasive Bi-level and end-tidal CO2 capnography
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to provide clinical input aimed at reducing length of stay and readmission rates
- Serve as shift lead when assigned: review workload, make staff assignments, precept lower-level therapists, and ensure task completion
### What we're looking for
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required
- State of Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license — required
- Minimum 3 years of respiratory care experience — required
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience — required
- BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications — required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) — preferred
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (annualized approximately $54,246–$100,880 at 2,080 hours)
- PRN / per-diem scheduling with day shifts
