A PRN Diagnostic Medical Vascular Sonographer role at AdventHealth East Orlando performs independent vascular and general ultrasound examinations at a faith-based health system in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and vascular Doppler examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols
- Position patients and manipulate transducers to acquire optimal images, waveforms, and diagnostic data across all age groups
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems, including completion of the ultrasound technologist worksheet to support radiologist review
- Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care
- Operate and maintain all imaging equipment safely, including routine cleaning, safety checks, and transducer sterilization
- Follow department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, infection control, and time-out procedures
### What we're looking for
- Eligibility or current registration with ARDMS or ARRT in vascular sonography
- Associate degree or completion of an accredited technical/vocational sonography program (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience (preferred)
- Detailed knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional anatomy, vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Proficiency with PACS applications and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

- Pay range: $28.68–$53.35/hr ($59,654–$110,968 annualized at 2,080 hours)
- PRN/per-diem schedule with 24-hour shift availability
