About this role
AdventHealth Gordon is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the day shift in Calhoun, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Manage direct reports across recruitment, hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and payroll functions for the PCU nursing team.
- Maintain unit compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, coordinating staff education and preparing the unit for audits and surveys.
- Build and manage nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care across 3×12-hour rotating shifts.
- Promote evidence-based practice and a culture of psychological safety, compassion, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide clinical guidance.
- Manage unit budget and resources to meet financial and operational goals.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Five or more years of current clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting (preferred).
- Thorough working knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and legal aspects of acute care nursing.
- PCCN or CCNS certification preferred; Cerner EHR experience a plus.

- Pay range: $32.48–$60.42/hour (~$67,558–$125,674 annualized).
