About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician II at its Tampa, Florida hospital campus on East Fletcher Avenue. ### What you'll do - Lead and contribute to compliance audits, documentation, and medication-use process improvement initiatives - Prepare reports and support operational readiness for regulatory inspections and accreditation surveys - Collaborate with pharmacy staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of pharmacy services across shifts and practice areas - Serve as a liaison between pharmacy and clinical teams to resolve medication-related issues - Mentor pharmacy technicians and support onboarding, competency validation, and peer development - Identify, mitigate, and assist in resolving pharmacy operational or program issues ### What we're looking for - Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) licensure — required - 1+ years of hospital, retail, or ambulatory pharmacy experience — required - High school diploma or equivalent — required - Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office - Completion of a pharmacy technician training program — preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $18.14–$29.02/hour (~$37,731–$60,362 annualized) - $3,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating hospitals and care sites across multiple states.
