UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring a PRN Cardiac Cath Lab RN at AdventHealth Glenoaks in Glendale Heights, Illinois.
### What you'll do
- Perform scrub, record, and circulate roles for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular cases in the invasive cardiology lab.
- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and clinical needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer and monitor medications pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, including critical care and moderate sedation medications.
- Operate x-ray and hemodynamic monitoring equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner per department policy.
- Advocate for patient safety, rights, and preferences throughout the care continuum.
### What we're looking for
- Active Illinois RN license (required).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience with specialty-specific knowledge.
- EKG competency and critical care skills, including knowledge of cardiac medications.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $35.19–$62.17 (annualized approximately $73,195–$129,314 at 2,080 hours).
- PRN schedule with 24-hour shift availability.
