About this role
An RN Clinical Research Night Shift position is open at AdventHealth's Ginsburg Tower in Orlando, Florida, supporting clinical and translational research trials with a focus on endocrine and metabolic disease.
### What you'll do
- Oversee IV infusions of insulin and glucose during glucose clamp procedures and administer IV push medications for other study protocols
- Manage dosing of Investigational Products and ensure protocol compliance, data accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Escort research volunteers through study visits, perform clinical tasks, collect data, and report results to the Clinical Research Coordinator and investigators
- Maintain accurate source document records and complete Case Report Forms in a timely manner per protocol specifications
- Perform phlebotomy, peripheral IV insertion, and assist physicians with procedures while practicing Universal Precautions
- Communicate effectively with investigators, scientists, project managers, and CRCs, serving as a participant advocate for adverse event reporting
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida
- Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- General knowledge of endocrine and metabolic disease processes
- Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
