A Basic X-Ray Machine Operator role at AdventHealth serving the Orlando, Florida outpatient clinic at 250 N Alafaya Trail.
### What you'll do
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for x-rays of specific body parts as ordered by the physician
- Set up, operate, and adjust radiographic equipment; select proper ionizing factors for each study
- Process film, evaluate images for clarity, and retake x-rays when quality standards are not met
- Implement infection control procedures and maintain the x-ray room and darkroom in clean, orderly condition
- Maintain patient records, daily logbooks, monthly reports, and x-ray film files
- Perform quantity and quality control checks to ensure equipment meets state regulations and company standards
### What we're looking for
- Active Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) certification — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's degree in radiological technology from an accredited program — preferred
- Minimum 1 year of basic x-ray operator experience — preferred
- Willingness to float to other FHMG practices as patient volume requires
- Effective English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
