AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a PRN Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist I for day-shift coverage at its acute care hospital in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform airway maintenance including manual resuscitation, suctioning, intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy tube changes.
- Deliver inhaled medications, bronchial hygiene therapy, lung expansion therapy, and manage patients receiving inhaled gases.
- Initiate, operate, manage, and wean patients from non-invasive, invasive, and advanced modes of mechanical ventilation, including High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation.
- Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies, providing CPR per American Heart Association guidelines.
- Perform hemodynamic procedures including arterial cannulation, pulmonary artery catheter insertion, and cardiac output profiling.
- Monitor, evaluate, and interpret diagnostic data including lab results, and document all procedures accurately in the EMR.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required); Bachelor's preferred.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or NBRC RRT credential (required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification per American Heart Association standards.
- Minimum 1 year of critical care experience.
- Proficiency in ABG puncture, arterial cannulation using sterile technique, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

- Hourly pay range: $26.08 – $48.50 (annualized equivalent approximately $54,246 – $100,880 at full-time hours).
- PRN day-shift schedule offering flexible availability.
