About this role

Full-time day-shift ICU Registered Nurse position at AdventHealth Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for ICU patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - CCNS, CCRN-E, or TNCC certification preferred. - Strong organizational, multitasking, EKG interpretation, and communication skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $32.50–$60.45/hr ($67,600–$125,736 annualized). - $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one plus four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, nationally recognized health system committed to whole-person care.
