AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Endocrinology & Diabetes Institute in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and initiate diagnostic testing in an outpatient endocrinology clinic
- Document visit results and clinical data accurately in the designated practice management system
- Maintain OSHA compliance and follow all safety processes and office policies
- Stay current on organizational policies and complete annual clinical competency assessments
- Travel to satellite locations as needed to support clinic staffing and operations
- Advocate for patients and navigate complex healthcare systems on their behalf
### What we're looking for
- Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred)
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment
