About this role
AdventHealth Parker is hiring a part-time Phlebotomy Services Technician for night shifts at its hospital campus in Parker, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform venous, capillary, urine drug screen, swab, and other specimen collections from hospital and outreach patients.
- Ensure quality collection by verifying appropriate containers, sample volumes, collection priority, and patient identification.
- Receive and assess incoming specimens, confirm identification and specimen type, and route samples to the correct testing areas.
- Centrifuge, aliquot, and load samples onto laboratory analyzers.
- Resolve unusual or unclear test orders by coordinating with caregivers, reference labs, pathology, or lab leadership.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); completion of a phlebotomy training program (preferred).
- Prior phlebotomy work experience in a hospital setting.
- CPT certification through NHA, NPCE, or ASPT (preferred).
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient laboratory environment.
