About this role

AdventHealth Centra Care in Longwood, Florida is hiring a full-time Radiologic Technologist (RT) for a day/weekend shift at its outpatient urgent care and imaging center. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and selecting technical factors to produce high-quality images meeting department standards. - Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely, applying radiation safety principles (time, distance, shielding) to keep exposure ALARA for patients and staff. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems, ensuring correct patient demographics and examination data. - Monitor patient condition, assist with transport, and ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures. - Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use; perform routine equipment cleaning and safety checks. - Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as operationally needed. ### What we're looking for - ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography [RT(R)] certification required. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. - 1+ year of radiologic technology experience preferred; new graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program are eligible. - Proficiency with radiology software platforms such as Cerner, Radnet, and PACS. - Demonstrated ability to care for patients across the full age spectrum: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour (approximately $44,845–$83,387 annually). - Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off starting Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME and career development resources; whole-person well-being and mental health support programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth Centra Care Longwood is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network serving communities across the United States.
