AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department Training Program on the night shift in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Assess and interpret diagnostic data — lab results, non-invasive monitoring, and interdisciplinary notes — relative to patient age and condition.
- Make clinical decisions and implement nursing interventions based on actual or potential health conditions.
- Develop and execute individualized care plans with measurable short- and long-range goals.
- Prioritize follow-up assessments and modify plans of care as patient status evolves.
- Complete comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including screening for abuse or neglect.
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher.
- Current Florida or Multistate Registered Nurse licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.

### About the practice
AdventHealth Winter Park operates a 29-bed Emergency Department treating more than 35,000 patients annually and certified as a Primary Stroke Center. The unit features dedicated pediatric treatment rooms, a trauma room, Baker Act safe rooms, OB-GYN rooms, and isolation and decontamination spaces, all supported by ED-based pharmacists, care managers, and a senior care coordinator. Night shift runs 7:00 pm–7:00 am on a 36-hour-per-week schedule with weekend rotation.
