About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Critical Care RN for its inpatient critical care unit at its Tampa, Florida campus on a day shift schedule. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses - Administer medications and treatments accurately; monitor patient responses and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes - Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established critical care protocols and advanced clinical skills - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care - Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time within the electronic medical record - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and mentor nursing staff to support unit-wide care standards ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification required - Critical care clinical competency as defined by unit standards - Strong EKG knowledge appropriate to the patient population - Preferred certifications include CCNS, TNCC, CEN, or FCCS; Cerner or Epic EMR experience a plus ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off starting Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources; whole-person well-being and mental health support programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system located at 3100 E.
