About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit 2 in Denver, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and established standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring patients for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure clear, effective communication. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills with the ability to function effectively in a team environment. - EKG competency per unit requirements; additional certifications (TNCC, CCNS, ONS, SCRN, etc.) are a plus. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $34.26–$59.24 (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized at 2,080 hours). - PRN schedule with day shifts available. - AdventHealth system benefits eligibility as applicable to PRN status. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is a full-service acute care hospital located at 2525 S.
